I am proud to share our 2025 Annual Report for the Office of Community Engagement & Constituent Services, a reflection of our team's accomplishments over the past year in service to the residents of Anne Arundel County.
In 2025, our office logged 846 community engagements and 5,265 constituent interactions, all while maintaining an average response time of just two business days. We attended 361 community events and 485 meetings — showing up in neighborhoods, community spaces, and virtual forums to hear directly from residents and help solve problems in real time.
Some of our proudest moments this year include:
Expanding the EngageArundel Webinar Series by hosting eight high-impact sessions, including one that drew a record 213 registrants
Supporting residents through the housing crisis by connecting families facing eviction and homelessness to the OEHR/ACDS Housing Portal
Securing meaningful legislation by helping drive the passage of Bill 79-25, which now requires landlords to maintain air conditioning systems and provide relief during outages, protecting our most vulnerable neighbors from dangerous summer heat
Growing our Community Newsletter to 59,260 subscribers and welcoming nearly 6,000 new readers this year alone
This report reflects hundreds of conversations, steady follow-through, and a deep commitment to making county government more accessible, responsive, and accountable. None of it is possible without the residents who continue to reach out, engage, and hold us to account.
I invite you to take a few moments to read the full report and see how your engagement continues to shape our work.
