Deciding to join the Anne Arundel County Executive's Office back in March 2020 was scary. The truth is, I had no idea how county government functioned, and as an introvert, the idea of representing the County Executive at public meetings gave me anxiety. However, after working at the same company for 12 years, going from intern to Executive Director, I was ready for a new challenge. I could not have imagined that just under four years later, I would be appointed as the Director of Community Engagement & Constituent Services.
To reintroduce the team, I created a staff guide to send to key stakeholders that explains the role of our office, introduces the team, and demonstrates the various ways to connect. The guide will also be repurposed to share the individual staff pages on social media to highlight each team member.
